Childcare is not just a provincial, federal or municipal issue, this is a community issue, that is affecting our families and children. We can lead this change…together!

We encourage you all to write to your MLAs and MPs about the importance of publicly funded, quality childcare for all families!

Another letter for you to sign as well to support our new Drop-in Childcare program to be funded by the BC Government’s Child Care BC Plan – Unfortunately, Occasional Childcare does not qualify to be funded under the Child Care Operating Fund. This is the only License type that does not qualify for the Affordable Childcare Benefit.  This program in Kelowna is currently supporting families needing emergency, last minute care.
