Type of Child Care Provided

Registered License Not Required Family Child Care (RLNR)
Are you a new mother in need of a break? I am now offering weekday evening care for newborn babes through 6/9 months old. I will provide one on one care to your newborn while you have a break; go out for dinner, shopping, have a nap, have a bubble bath! I have been running my registered home daycare for 14 years and have been registered with Childhood Connections throughout this time. I have current first aid/CPR, food safe and have previously provided respite care to foster children as young as two days old, which required clearance through the Ministry for Children and Families for people working with vulnerable individuals. I am highly experienced and confident with newborns, having raised my own three sons and being blessed enough to have many family members and friends to whom I have provided newborn care and the first sleepover nights to. Evening care will be booked on a priority status, with a minimum of 24 hours advanced notice. Excellent references available upon request. $20 per hour. Older siblings may be accepted for evening care upon request for an extra fee. Overnight care will also be considered, must be booked in advance and only available on Friday and Saturday nights. If you need extra support during your postpartum months, I am here to provide exceptional care. Please contact Melle at 250–859-0843 to discuss further.
