Assistant Manager – Facility Manager needed at Echo Early Learning Center
Echo Early Learning Center is looking for an outstanding assistant manager with potential to take the lead as facility manager with in 6 months at our Belgo location.
Our Program: At Echo Early Learning Center, we have a two class room facility. One 3-5 program, and one Multiage that have the max capacity of 33 children. Within our classrooms, we run a full day program with preschool in the morning and daycare in the afternoon. Our morning preschool includes circle, art, printing, phonics and letter recognition each day. Our afternoons have a more relaxed structure with a focus on sensory activities, social play and self esteem/self help advancement. Our day is coordinated with the intent to teach but with the knowledge that curiosity should always be encouraged, and flexibility is needed to maintain positive growth and development.
Position: We are looking for an inspiring and creative new leader in our Belgo location. This passionate candidate will need understanding and experience in multiage and 3-5 classrooms as well as the ability to positively guide both children, coworkers, and parents. We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator who stands out among their peers and is willing and to consistently go above and beyond in order to set the best example as the leader of our facility.
Start date: Mid august -Early September.
Wage: This is a full time position with guaranteed 40-45 hours per week. Starting wage is negotiable depending on experience and education the successful candidate would start at between 22-24(including WE), moving up $2/hour if the candidate demonstrates the ability to manage the facility independently in 6 months.

Assistant Manager – Facility Manager Responsibilities:
-Communicate with owners, staff, parents and children positively and effectively.
-Adjust the staff schedule as needed.
-Group children as needed within the facility.
-Tour and welcome new parents.
-Answer phones and emails as needed.
-Follow and create programming with the inclusion of a daily art, HWT activity, circle and more.
-Utilize staff or manager down time to maintain the facility as needed. Order supplies, clean and preform minor repairs such as level the sand box, weed/water the garden, clean the windows and tidy the toys.
-Be prepared to occasionally stay longer or take care of important items after regular hours.
-Be willing and able to learn the Echo program.
-Build on and improve the groundwork set in place by Echo.
-Maintain licensing standards and paperwork to support it, checklists, run fire drills, self inspections.
-Assist children with exceptionalities to work in the classroom with medical professionals and support networks if needed.
-Adapt quickly and calmly lead the team when the situation needs it, staff illness, new children, weather changes, facility issues.
-Maintain a safe and clean facility.
