Come meet our Central Okanagan Pedagogist

Please come and meet our new Early Years Childhood Pedagogy Network Pedagogist, Amy Wesley. Amy will be working with educators in our community. Join us to learn about how you can host a pedagogists to collaborate with your program.

Hello everyone,

I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Amy and I am new to the Central Okanagan, but I have been an educator for more than 15 years working in Kamloops, North Vancouver and UBC Vancouver. I come to my role of Pedagogist with an immense amount of excitement and passion for fostering relationship and for engaging in dialogue with educators, children and the greater community. I also come to this role living with questions of what it means to encounter the Other through our current conditions and how we will find ways to live well together through a time of pandemic.

At this informative workshop, Amy will explain what the Early Years Pedagogy Network is. As well as clarify her role as a Pedagogist in our community. You will also gain an understanding of how she can support you in your childcare environment.
