Childhood Connections Okanagan Family and Childcare Society (formerly Kelowna Child Care Society) is a non-profit society that has been providing services in the Central Okanagan since 1977. Throughout this time, the society has seen many changes in the community. Initially, the focus of the Society was primarily around child care, and although this is still a key service, the Society has evolved and provides many services that support the healthy growth of children in our community.
• Promoting quality child care within the community
• Working cooperatively with all local child care
organizations, community partners and services
• Supporting parents by providing child care referrals, child care information, and child care subsidy support
• Providing a wide range of Family Resource services and information for families.
Childhood Connections works to support safe, secure and healthy environments for children; to encourage quality and excellence in child care; to provide information, services and programs that enhance the capacity of parents/guardians and child care providers; build community partnerships to strengthen service-delivery and reduce duplication of services.
