Safeguard Your Business: Navigating BC Employment Law," aims to provide valuable insights and the importance of clear and concise contracts and policies that can help you safeguard your business. Justice Education Society of BC (JES) believes that staying informed about legal obligations and best practices is crucial for the success and sustainability of your childcare business.

During this event, you will have the opportunity to:

· Understand the basic legal obligations required of employers · Understand the consequences of failing to meet those obligations and the steps available to address complaints · Identify ways you can ensure you are treating your employees fairly · Apply practical tips in creating employment contracts

The event is completely free of charge, thanks to the support of our funder (Women and Gender Equality Canada). We encourage you to take advantage of this valuable opportunity and register as soon as possible through the Eventbrite link provided above. Please note that spaces are limited, and registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly request you share this invitation with other childcare managers, supervisors, HR and business owners within your network who may benefit from this event. The more engaged participants we have, the richer the discussions and learning experience for everyone.
