Unit 9: Play & Play Environments

Children naturally love to play and research shows that children learn through play. The enjoyment and learning that takes place through their play experiences is essential to their growth and development. Much of the child care day involves play in one form or another and it takes child care provider initiative and dedication to provide a play environment which will support that play.
